A handover has taken place for the position of Graduate Student Representative in the Department of Sociology. Our Master's student, Heba Anwar Enajah, has handed over her representative duties to our PhD student, Mahmudul Hasan Naeem. We extend our thanks to our outgoing Master's student, Heba Anwar Enajah, for her efforts and valuable contributions during her term as representative.
The Graduate Student Representative is responsible for gathering feedback from our graduate student community on a range of issues, policies, and initiatives that affect our graduate students. This role aims to ensure that students' voices are heard, their suggestions are forwarded to the department administration, and to contribute to a graduate education environment that is more inclusive and student-centered. The representative's dedication and commitment play a vital role in the continuous improvement of the graduate experience.
As a department, we aim to work closely with our new representative and enhance the experience of our graduate students together.
