Our PhD student from the Department of Sociology, Nesibe Demir, will defend her dissertation titled “Discipline, Affect and Resistance: Subjectivities of ‘Religious Youth’ as a Lifelong Meleke Construction Process in Türkiye”, prepared under the supervision of Prof. Alev Erkilet. The defense will take place on Tuesday, April 14th 2026, at 14.00 at ITBF 2.22 Sociology Meeting Room.
