Our Sociology MA student Heba Attaallah will be defending her master’s thesis titled “Decolonizing the Self through Embrasing Islam: Narratives of Muslim Reverts Based in İstanbul and Beyond” prepared under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Irfan Ahmad.
The thesis defense will be held online on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 14:00 PM, with the
participation of the jury members Prof. Dr. Alev Erkilet (Ibn Haldun University) and Assisst. Prof. Fadi Zatari (Sabahattib Zaim University)
