Ibn Haldun University Sociology Department Research Assistant Yunus Yeşil delivered a presentation titled "Artificial Intelligence and Science" as part of the "Technologies of the Future" event held at Başakşehir Öğrenciden Armağan Anadolu High School on February 10, 2025.
The presentation covered the role of artificial intelligence in academic research, its advantages, and its limitations in scientific production. Yunus Yeşil emphasized that AI can serve as an effective tool to enhance efficiency in scientific activities while also drawing attention to ethical concerns and the inadequacies in academic studies.
The event, specifically organized for high school students, highlighted the proper ways to use artificial intelligence in academic processes. Yeşil guided students on how to consciously utilize AI-powered tools to enhance their information production and research capabilities.
The event was organized by Project Coordinators, Chemistry Teacher Sibel Yiğit Alaşalvar and Biology Teacher Senem Esen.
