The sociology department would like to encourage the graduate students' academic achievement. To fulfill this purpose, our department provides a Field/Research/Travel Grant for its graduate students.
The Field/Research/Travel Grant funds the student in his or her academic expenditures such as conference participation, fieldwork or other research-related expenses.
The application for the grant opens annually and provides funds based on a number of criteria outlined in the regulation file below, including the department's budget situation.
