As the Department of Sociology, we have established an official partnership with The Global Council on Anthropological Linguistics (GLOCAL). GLOCAL, an estemeed global body focusing on Linguistic Anthropology and Anthropological Linguistics, connects scholars from various fields to promote research, collaborations and scholarships across international borders.
GLOCAL,which leads numerous initiatives such as annual conferences, publications, media, and scholarly consultations, has included the Department of Sociology in its network of official academic partners. This partnership aims to strengthen Ibn Haldun University's global engagement, opening new opportunities for collaboration in fields such as Linguistic and Cultural Anthropology and fostering cross-disciplinary connections with linguists and anthropologists.
As an affiliate partner, our Department of Sociology will be included in GLOCAL's projects, events, research initiatives and networks, expanding its international presence.
