The launch of the book Palestine and the Future of Global Affairs was held on Tuesday, March 25, in the ITBF 2.22 Sociology Meeting Room. The event featured contributions from the book’s authors, Prof. Ramazan Aras, Assist. Prof. Heba Raouf Ezzar, Assist. Prof. Tesnim Khriji, and PhD Student Dalal Bajes, who engaged in discussions on the book’s content. Academics and students from various departments of the our university attended the launch.
During the event, the Palestinian issue was examined from an academic perspective. Discussions particularly focused on the deportation of students who participated in recent pro-Palestinian protests in the United States and the threats directed toward academia. Additionally, İbn Haldun University’s proposal to provide scholarships and employment support to expelled students and academics was brought to the table. The program concluded with discussions on how academic engagement can support Palestinian resistance.
