The Sociology Department's Field/Research/Travel Scholarship applications were finalized in the Fall Term of 2022. As a result of the evaluation of the applications, the Department contributed to the academic achievements of four graduate students. Betül Tozlu - Symposium Participation
Our student, along with her colleagues Gamze Yalçın and Ceyda Arol, presented "No or Evil? Investigation of Conflict Between K-Pop Fans and Opponents in the Context of Power Relations” during the Turkish Postgraduate Studies Congress at Mardin Artuklu University from November 9-12.
Nesibe Demir - Symposium Participation
Our student presented a paper entitled "The Role of Emotions in the Activities of Muslim Women: Ladies' Science and Culture Association (HİKDE)" during the Turkish Graduate Studies Congress held at Mardin Artuklu University between 9-12 November.
Pınar Şen – Symposium Participation
Our student will make a presentation at the 17th National Social Sciences Congress to be organized by the Turkish Social Sciences Association.
Saiyid Ashraf Jafri has been awarded a scholarship for the field work planing to do in India for our student's research on "Post-Sectarianism in India".
